Week 6 - fixing the game
This week I devoted my 2 hours to some fixing of the game, as the main gameplay of the scene is done. I dug through the piles of scripts and fixed jumping, so now the character jumps with W instead of with space, which feels much better for me. Reading the scripts and finding the correct one took some time, but at least I can orient myself a little bit better around the project, although it is still quite overwhelming.
The second part of my fixing session was devouted to sounds, as for some reason the shooting sound wasn't getting played (the project probably got faultily loaded), so I added the sound there and I also turned down the volume of doors when they are getting opened, as before the loudness was ripping my ears off.
Next time I'll try to wrap the whole level up.
